Guidance issued by the Food Standards Agency, Cabinet Office, Environment Agency, Defra, HM Revenue and Customs
advises that if you produce waste cooking oil as part of your business, then you must ensure that it is stored properly,
and disposed of in a responsible manner.

I can assist you with responsible recycling of your waste vegetable oil free of charge. I only collect locally, so the
carbon foot print of your used oil is dramatically reduced in comparison with many commercial collectors who travel
widely and ship used oil all over Europe.

Collections are arranged at mutually convenient times and you are provided with a waste transfer notice to satisfy Food
Hygiene Inspections and the Environment Agency.

I am one of a small number of private individuals in the UK, recycling used cooking oil to make Biodiesel for personal use.
This process is carried out under exemptions issued by the Environment Agency and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

I collect waste vegetable oil for recycling, free of charge from local pubs, restaurants and other food outlets.
A waste transfer note will be supplied.

You can reuse your original oil containers or replacement containers can be supplied.

The Government strongly supports the recovery of waste vegetable oil for the manufacture of Biodiesel, as it underpins
its strategies in both reducing dependency upon landfill sites as a means of waste disposal and reducing
the use of fossil fuels for vehicle fuel.
